Home Care Education

Adult Dentistry Home Care Education

In addition to regular dental visits, good oral hygiene is essential to help your smile last a lifetime. By caring for your teeth, you’re making a small investment that will pay huge dividends in your self-confidence—not to mention help prevent more expensive problems in the future.

At Epic Dental, we are committed to taking an active role in offering useful information and educating our patients about home dental care practices. Our helpful, knowledgeable staff is happy to demonstrate correct brushing and flossing techniques and to answer your questions about maintaining oral health. We can also help address special concerns, such as tooth sensitivity or caring for dental restorations.

We’re dedicated to making learning about dental health fun and easy to understand so that, together, we’ll keep your teeth looking and feeling great. Here are some things that you can do to prevent tooth decay and gum disease:

  • Brush twice per day for at least two minutes each time
  • Floss daily
  • Eat a well-balanced diet
  • Continue getting regular dental exams and cleanings
  • If you smoke, try to quit

If you have any questions about home dental care or to schedule an appointment with one of our highly trained dentists, please contact us at our dental office — proudly serving Norwood, Walpole, and surrounding areas.
