Dr. Matthew Miner, DDS

Meet the Team Dr. Matthew Miner, DDS

Dr. Matthew Miner is a third-generation dental practitioner and a Board Certified Orthodontist. His true passion is the field and practice of Orthodontics, and for him, the ability to create beautiful, healthy smiles makes every day a joy.

Dr. Miner’s grandfather, Dr. Leroy Miner, was the only dentist ever to be featured on the cover of Time Magazine (July, 1936), and he inspired Dr. Miner to devote his career to contributing to the dental profession. In addition to his work at Epic Dental, he has maintained this tradition by holding multiple administrative positions, teaching clinically, and publishing his research at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Currently, he is engaged in orthodontic research at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Orthodontic and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Dr. Miner received his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry, followed by a residency at a hospital in New Jersey. After serving two years in the U.S Navy, he attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed a post-graduate fellowship in Orthodontics. Prior to specializing solely in Orthodontics, he practiced General Dentistry with his father in New Hampshire.

Dr. Miner is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the American Lingual Orthodontic Association and the prestigious Edward H. Angle Society. He is a Certified Practitioner in both Lingual (Inside) Braces and Invisalign.

Dr. Miner lives in Dedham, MA with his wife Lynn and is the father of two grown children, Carolyn and Todd. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, and of course, rooting for the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.
