Jan Donovan
When Jan Donovan was a teenager, she underwent periodontal surgery. This turned out to be an experience that inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry. She became interested in oral healthcare and knew she wanted to educate other young people so that they could avoid going through what she did. Now, some forty years after being trained as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Jan has helped countless patients learn about dental hygiene and maintain healthy smiles.
Jan has been with Epic Dental since 2012. She loves catching up with her patients at each visit and forming connections with them on a personal level. She also feels education about prevention is an important aspect of her work. One of Jan’s ongoing goals is to help patients understand the relationship between oral health and overall health.
In her free time, Jan loves to go for walks or boat rides and is a member of her local yacht club. She is also an avid traveler (Hawaii, Greece, Italy, and Tahiti are favorites) but is just as happy to stay home and spend time with family, including her husband, daughters, and grandson.
