Monica Cano
Monica Cano has worked as a Certified Dental Assistant for nearly twenty years, first in endodontics and now in pediatric dentistry. She first became interested in dentistry when she got braces as a child—and today she hopes to pass on this fascination to the young patients treated by Epic’s talented pediatric team!
For Monica, the energy in pediatrics is unlike any other environment. She simply loves working with kids, and they make her happy every day. When she sees a child’s amazement upon learning something new about their teeth or oral hygiene, it is such a rewarding feeling for Monica. Plus, working with Dr. Moreno and the rest of her amazing coworkers is always a pleasure.
Monica’s passion for patient care has been passed on to her family. She has two sons, one of whom is a Dental Hygienist. She also has a granddaughter who she loves to spend time with. Monica enjoys photography and anything that allows her to stay active, including biking, hiking, and dancing. She loves to travel back to her home country of Colombia (she speaks fluent Spanish) and hopes to visit more countries and cultures in the future.
